Upgrade to Redhat 9??
 

I have Redhat 7.3 running as a workstation. Are there any reasons or benefit's to upgrading to Redhat 9??

there are always benefits to upgrading...not speaking specifically of redhat.

you get a new kernel, new compilers, many other programs, and of course security (and other) patches. of course this is assuming you didnt already recompile the kernel and add all the software..

As a workstation, there are a lot of benefits to going with 9. As a server all I can say is DON'T DO IT MAN!!! Sorry, but they broke a few critical things with Redhat 9 that impact things like Lotus Notes, Wine, etc...
