Updating a remote server with a local cd

Monthly I get a cd for updates on my server software. Unfortunatly the server is in a city over an hour away from me. I'd like not to drive there once a month. Is there a way I can mount the cd here, and use it to update the server there? I've thought about transfering the contents of the cd to the server via scp or ftp or something, but this just doesn't seem to be the best way

If you set-up firewall and tcp-wrapper properly you
could try to export and nfs mount the thing ...
Just make ABSOLUETLY sure the connection is
tight.

Almost ... you want to mount the CD locally,
define and /etc/export (only valid for that ONE remote
host), ssh to the remote server and nfs-mount the
CD-Rom on your machine...
