Question Unformat Hard Drive

Is there a way to recover from a "Quick Format" commmand to a previously used Hard Drive. What commands or tools are available?

format

I believe quick format merely changes information in the partition table. Search for "recover partition table"

I think it is more serious than that.

If one partitions a hard disk then the changes are only inside the partition table and the partition interior is untouched.

A quick format by its very nature is file-specific operation (as the file type is specified) and as such it needs to reorganise the filing indices in the boot sector, thereby destroying the content pages of the previous data.

changes only in the first 512b of hard drive

If the changes are only in the first 512 bytes of the drive the data should still be there and easily recoverable, no?
