change 'uname -s' output?

can anyone tell me what a HP-UX, SunOS, or solaris machine answers with when issued a 'uname -s' command?

Edit:
allow me to change the question a bit. Is there an environ variable or something I can tweak that will get 'uname -s' to output SunOS instead of 'Linux'?

A uname -a command on a friend's SunOS box:
kbenson@tixferd ~$ uname -a
SunOS terminator 5.8 Generic_108528-09 sun4m sparc SUNW,SPARCstation-20
I would imagine, that uname -s would display SunOS, but I'm told uname -sr is almost always used instead of just s, I think -r displays the os release level.
