unable to link


hi all

i have a certain programming package which i am able to link and compile with linux version 7 and 8 machines,but i am unable to compile it with linux 9.0 machine.that package has to library files which supprot both linux 7 n 8.0,but not linux 9.0.what mus be done to link those files n compile it on linux 9.0.

The current version of Linux is 2.6, so I assume that you're referring to your distribution's version number.

Please post the compiler's output for the stage that fails, as well as the distro that you are using.
