LinuxQuestions.org - Unable to install Ubuntu or any other distro on PC

I have multiple PCs with similar CPUs and motherboards. All of them are multiboot with openSUSE, Debian, Fedora & Mageia. Some have also *buntu and/or Mint and/or other distros. Any distro you choose should be installable on yours, unless you have some sort of hardware failure. Here is some data on two I have booted today:

Nomodeset is a workaround for installation and troubleshooting. It cannot support more than crude, minimal graphics. If you want more help with installation, we need more detail about your hardware, what you did, and resulting error messages.
