Unable to install redhat linux 9.0

I am trying to install rh linux along with windows xp

I have a set of linux enterprise edition cds and i have installed on my computer before and it is working perfect. I am now trying to install it on my friends comptuer. It is booting from the first cd and if i hit enter for graphical mode or typed linux askmethod and hit enter it just gives the message

loading vmlinuz..........................
loading kernel in****......................

and then goes to a blank screen. Harddrive, CD rom not reading -- then i have to restart the computer

I have three different sets of cds and having the same issue with all the cds

It is sata harddrive and AMD 64 bit processor

Anyone help me what are the things to be checked to overcome this

Redhat, 9?!?!?!?

You can start by trying distro's of linux that were created "AFTER" your hardware, not before. AMD 64 didn't exist when redhat 9 or distro's of that era came out, and almost no one was using SATA especially with linux.

If you wanna try fedorah core, that's fine, but it would probably be best to actually install a 64 bit os on the 64 bit computer.
