Unable to boot dump / restore from software raid
Hello,
I dumped the root partition of a computer with software raid (/dev/md0). I then restored to a new partition on a standard SCSI device (/dev/sda1). I removed all references to the md0 device that I could find, but the computer still cannot boot. It always tries to mount /dev/md0 even when I pass root=/dev/sda1 to the kernel.
Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
Regards,
Joe Kotran
