udf, Joliet, and Rock Ridge

A few days ago, I burn data into cd with k3b. I enabled Joliet extensions, Rock Ridge extensions, Udf structures. My friend with his windows ( 98 and xp ) cannot read it. So I wonder what option should I enable so that cd which I burn can be read in any os or hardware? Should I enable all ? (this not works) Should I enable Joliet and Rock Ridge extensions only? or should I enable only Joliet extensions if I want to give my friends with their windows my data in cd?

Udf is only needed for packet-writing, and requires to be read a decent cdrom and a special software (like nero in-cd or adaptech udf-reader).
To make it short, 90% you only need joilet.
However you can put rockridge too if you want extended unix files like symlinks, devices, permissions (useful for backups), etc.; in my experience, it doesn't make any difference on win.

PS: what you shouldn't set is "leave session open", it's only used for music cds and prevents it to be read on most systems.
