Ubuntu requiring authentication to print - not wanted
 

Greetings,

Running Ubuntu and XP on separate machines. My printer is on the XP machine and I used to be able to print from either machine. For some reason, after I moved my computers and set them up again, Ubuntu is telling me I need to authenticate to be able to print. How do I remove this requirement? It was never required before and I don't want to have to switch the printer cable back and forth. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Can't see Windows shares either

Found something else out - I can't see my Windows shares from Ubuntu as well. Could this be a problem with the router? I upgraded the firmware today.
