Ubuntu display problem on dual display system

Testing the latest 11.04 on a Zbox mini PC, which has VGA and HMDI display build in, I am outputting to a widescreen TV via VGA, upon boot up the display gone blank, nothing on the HDMI as well, but when I 'blind logon' the display come back, but not at the best 1366x768 resolution the TV supports, I got the standard 1024x768 only. Checking the display setting I unchecked the 'same image on all monitor', and I find 2 display, one is 'notebook' which supports up to 1366x768, the other is 'unknown' which supports only 1024x768, so I disable the 'unknown' one, but when I apply the setting the display gone blank again, there is no way I can use the max resolution the monitor is capable of, changing BIOS setting doesn't help too, there is no xorg.conf so I don't know what went wrong, any idea ?

To work out what went wrong it's not xorg.conf you want, it's /var/log/Xorg.0.log

I specially replaced the TV with a higher resolution one that supports full HD, now I can get full resolution on HDMI but the screen is shifted to the left, there is no auto adjust on the TV, and if I set both screen (unknown and notebook) to the same, I can get only 1024x768, it seem this is the dead end of VGA can't go any further, and I don't know there is any hidden setting I can bypass that limited.
