Ubuntu based distro with e17 window manager or fluxbox?


any current(9.04)ubuntu based distro's that Exclusively
use fluxbox or enlightenment that anyone knows about??

I can't seem to find any.....

Fluxbuntu? Alternatively, take an Ubuntu install, remove the Gnome packages and install Fluxbox.

most are 8.04 or 8.10 based it seems...

Hmmph, apologies, it looks like a dead project. I think your best bet is to install fluxbox to Ubuntu and then strip away the Gnome desktop - maybe just leave the base libraries for compatibility.

I'm back!! Xubuntu is at 9.04 and looks like what you are after. It uses XFCE rather than Fluxbox, but it is still lightweight and if you really need Flux you could install it over the top.
