[SOLVED] ubuntu 9.04 to 9.10 upgrade went bad

Well I. Removed the acl package and it toasted the gnome interface..so I'm back doing a restore.

well i have still have not been success with the xsession issue i am having.

Debating on reloading EVERYTHING from CD and my fedora 12 image wont work so may be a clean install of each is in order.

So the question becomes... install ubuntu first then fedora?

I cannot get fedora to work i guess its a ext4 not a ext3 and grub issue.

A little updates on this. I Loaded a copy of winxp on the disk then loaded ubuntu and finally i can get my winxp partition to boot. I am running 9.10 and xp pro on my test disk now.

I am still trying to migrate my user data over to the system. I will keep my u9.10 and my fedora 12 disk around to play with and test. I dont use fedora to much but I should use it more.
