What is the command to turn off the power management?

try rpm -qa | grep apmd if nothing is returned, the daemon is not installed. If it is, try redhat-config-services and make sure it's turned off in runlevels 3 & 5. Also take a look at your ssccreensaver optioins to make sure there is no power management stuff included there.

When I grepped for apmd
apmd-3.0.2-18 was located.

Ran redhat-config-services and apmd has NO check mark in any runlevel listed (3-5)

How do I find the screensaver options in fvwm2?

Any other tips?
