Tty

For example, Xserver is the server that allows X to load on different viewports and its clients are input/output devices and a window manager.(please correct me if that is not correct)

What is the tty server that allows tty?
Can the tty server be replaced, for example by the Xserver?
How do I make Xserver be the primary server if the TTY server can't be replaced?

thank you

what are you talking about??? this really means nothing. tty's are "served" (very much in quotations) by a agetty, mingetty etc... via /etc/inittab this really has nothgin to do with X at all... maybe a little context here?? what do you want to do?

Your answer helps: mingetty and agetty. :-)

It is not what I want to do, but what I am doing: exploring Linux.

thank you
