TrueCrypt vs. dm-crypt

It looks like these two packages basically do the same thing, encrypting volumes or files. Using Fedora 10, dm-crypt comes with my distro.

To those of you who have used them, what are the issues related to, and between, the two of them?

Someone might correct me on this if I'm wrong, but I dont not believe you can use TrueCrypt to do full disk encryption on Linux (yet). That is where dm-crypt shines and works straight out of the box. You can create multiple keys to "unlock" the disk for backdoors or multiple users.

I use a combination of TrueCrypt and dm-crypt. dm-crypt on my laptop to protect my data if the laptop gets stolen, and TrueCrypt volume/file to protect data in transit between my laptop and desktop.
