Trouble updating Ubuntu 10.4

Hi People,
Last week, I wanted to view a web page that requires Internet Explorer to navigate through and decided to install wine and a compatible version of IE that was supposed to work according to a website I found on the matter.

I followed the instructions here:

http://www.tatanka.com.br/ies4linux/page/Installation

There were some problems as I went along, and I gave up but found that Wine had been installed although I still didn't find any IE options.

Now Update Manager reports the following errors and doesn't complete.

Failed to fetch http://us.archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/...86/Packages.gz 404 Not Found [IP: 91.189.88.30 80]
Failed to fetch http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/apt/...86/Packages.gz 404 Not Found
Some index files failed to download, they have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

I've removed Wine using the Ubuntu Software Center, but still can not do updates.
If anyone has any suggestions, I would appreciate it.
Thanks.

You are using the edgy repo's, which don't exist anymore.
Use the lucid repo's.

You could use the "user agent switcher" plugin in firefox

Kind regards

That link is nearly 4 years old.

Remove the edgy repos and the wine repo that you added from your sources.list
