not to be rude, but people around here will feel more comfortable with
/dev/hda vs C:\
/dev/hdb vs D:\
/dev/hdc vs E:\
/dev/hdd vs F:\
i have a
/dev/hda is the boot disk in my bios, it is also my lilo disk.
If I choose linux, it boots!
When I choose windows, it jumps into the NT bootloader.
(btw. I think booting 3.1/95/98/ME is different)
my (partial) /etc/lilo.conf
read-only # Non-UMSDOS filesystems should be mounted read-only for checking
# Linux bootable partition config ends
# Windows bootable partition config begins
other = /dev/hda1
table = /dev/hda
sync lilo records with "sudo lilo"
