whenever i try to play a piece of media in totem, it errors and says check to see if a disk is in the drive, i confiure to read correct drive, it tells me to insert disc 1 of install discs. i do that and after, it says although the proper drivers were installed the player had to shutdown, etc. thanks in advance
I've never used totem, but I would give mplayer a try. Thats what I use, its pretty simple and never gives me any problems. plays .mpg .avi .mp3 and dvds, and lots more..
