torsmo + E16 = X won't log out

I have torsmo loading with E. When I log out of E, torsmo stays open not allowing X to go back to the login screen. How can I convince E to close torsmo on logging out?

I am using kdm as login manager so I created a .xprofile file which reads
Quote:
exec starte16 &

exec torsmo -o
I have googled around but with no luck. The only way I can log out now is after I log out of E, I hit ctrl-atl-backspace.
