Is there a way from which I can view the linux partition on Windows 95.

Assuming you mean both OSs are on the same machine, and that the Linux partition is in Linux (ext2) format, then no. Linux is smart enough to read MSDOS, VFAT, and a wealth of other file systems, but Win95 is far more limited.

If the partition is on _another_ machine, so that Linux is running, then Linux can share the info with the Win95 machine.

You could always try to use a third party vendor application like VMWare to load Linux within Windows to use then.

I think you can use a proggy like explore2fs to see linux partitions in windows. I've never used it myself though, only read about it.

There're two OSs in my machine: Win2k and RedHat7.1 Linux. I've been using two programs in Win2k to access my Linux partition and both of them work fine. One is Ext2fs, a commercial software. I use the demo version and it doesn't offer writing support. The other is explore2fs which is a free software distributed under GPL. It offers writing support. That means you can read or write your Linux partition with it.
