to know the list of users who are accessing the newly generated file on certain directory


Hello All,

Please can you advice, how can we identify the list of users on AIX/Linux who are accessing the file is getting generated on certain directory?

we have /temp directory. abc.csv file is being generated daily.
we want to know which all users are access this file on this location.
Please advice.

We understand your initial question, but asking for further help after only ONE MINUTE does nothing to get you help faster, and only serves to remove your post from the zero-reply list, making it less visible, and less likely to have been answered. Look at inotify. Also, there are over 2.2 MILLION hits in Google for "list users who have accessed a file on a linux system", so a bit of basic research first before posting would be good.
