Things a Linux System Administrator should know by heart in Apache httpd server

I would like to know what all the things the Linux System Administrator should know by heart in Apache httpd server. Now a days i am more more involved in apache web server. It would be helpful for me. I have knowledge about virtual host, ssl for apache, apache webserver and tomcat integration. I need to know which areas i need to know by heart in Apache web server.

That's like asking "how high is up??" There is no hard and fast answer...the things YOU have to know by heart and be familiar with on a daily basis, are going to be different from what OTHERS will have to know.

Best advice would be to know your environment, know your servers, and know what's expected of both you and your resources.

TB0ne is right, there's quite a bit a Linux System Administrator should know by heart. In the mean time, (if you haven't got it already), get yourself a copy of this http://shop.oreilly.com/product/9780596002039.do , and check out this http://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/a....html#download as well. There's lots of great (and free) documentation about the subject.
