I use win2k hypter terminal to connect to my cisco router. I have the abilty to be able to adjust my serial connection speed and etc under the hyper terminal program. I am new to Linux. I am slowly crossing over to the dark side. What program in linux in similiar to windows hyper terminal and if there is no program under the GUI then how do I conect serially to my router? Please help!
That the problem, I have not configured a ip address for my router. I need to connect to them through the console port which connect from my serial port on my laptop to the port on the router to be able to setup the router with an IP address and etc...
Please do not double post the same questions, its against the rules on this site. You can answer this question in the other forum called networking where you also posted this, also where its more suited.
