Terminal Help
First off I am a newb, I got my mac a couple weeks ago and for the first time started downloading torrents via Bit and Tomatotorrent. Randomly they stopped working giving me errors like
"bad data from tracker - not a valid bencoded string"
so I did a little research online and decided on getting rtorrent which proved to be very difficult. The whole process inspired me to learn more about how terminal is worked.
First question: I downloaded DarwinPorts via darwinports.com but I only got MacPorts is that normal?
second: Once i have darwin or macports what else do I need or need to do in order to update them? (i have XCode if that is of any use)
