Task manager cpu graph for red hat 9.0?
I just installed 9.0 on my dual athlon and I want to see if the install loaded a smp kernel... and be able to display a realtime graph of *both* cpu's output... ? thx
|
i am pretty sure that by default, the answer is no....
i think you have to recompile the kernel with smp support.... i don't have dualies personally, but to my knowledge i think that is the case, and i am sure someone will correct me if i am wrong.. and in any case gkrellm + lm_sensors is always a great tool for viewing many different things. |
If you try using top and press the 1 key it will cycle through your cpu's. If you have smp support compiled in I guess.
I know its not graphical but its a quick test that shouldnt be hard to do. And as the previous post said, gkrellm is great! |
no gtop but,
if you chose to load kde in your RH9 setup you might (I do) have a
System Tools|More System Tools|KDE System Guard which shows a CPU load graph that updates continuously. |
