System takes up to 10 minutes to boot (udev timeouts)

Since yesterday, my Debian Wheezy system is taking up to 10 minutes to boot up due to many timeouts of udev.

The only change that was made to the system was this http://superuser.com/questions/74524...oots-everytime. However, I reverted back just to check whether it was its fault or not, but I keep having this problem.

Any idea?

there wasn't anything in /var/log/messages related to this problem.

It's magically solved now LOL. Weird thing.

Ok, it happened again, but I found the root of the problem. My sdb drive is failing. According to its SMART status "Disk has a few bad sectors".

This drive is a 2 TB Western Digital which I use as NTFS to store multiple heavy things that I use between Linux and Windows, like movies, games, software, backups, etc.

Is there anything I could do?

Running a self-test, this is the result:
