system running too slow


hi
my system is running too slow for one particular user, but works fine if i login as another user.
I am tired of the sad and sluggish performance

here is some of my system stats and info

If the system is slow for only one user... then how about deleting that user account and creating a fresh one?

Otherwise you have to trawl about that user's account to figure out what they are doing.

You have to look at top for a long period.
Look at the line cpu(s), especially us, sy and wa. Is there one often high?
