syslinux command not found

OS: Centos 6.5

I installed Centos 6.5 from a USB thumb drive and the system is operatinal.

I tried to use syslinux command to make a bootable USB and I got "command not found".

Am I missing boot loader? How it doesn't effect my system during bootup?

How to install syslinux?

syslinux is a package that isn't installed by default.

If you run "yum list syslinux" it will show any syslinux package installed or available.

If none are installed but are available you can simply type "yum install syslinux" to install it.

This assumes you've got network connectivity to get it from the CentOS 6 repositories.

The boot loader on the thumb drive should be named ldlinux.sys. The syslinux command is only needed on the system that creates the bootable drive. Yum install syslinux should give you the command.
