Sync time

Hi,
How can I sync time when startup between linux and linux (redhat 8.0).
Thank you.

Well if you want to keep two machines perfectly in sync then you will have to setup NTP. You could use an internet time server for the source of the right time. Or you could dub one of the two machines as a time server.
I suggest you start by reading the documentation at www.ntp.org

man rdate

rdate -s xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

sets the time from an external server.
Add that line to the end of /etc/rc.d/rc.local to make it synch when you boot.

All times are GMT -5. The time now is 03:43 AM.
