Symlinks under Windows Emulator?

I'm emulating DC++ under Wine and i would like to access all my files which are on a seperate EXT3 partition. I tried to create a symlink under my virtual C:\ drive but that does not work..

Does anyone know any techniques I can use access my data from an emulated Windows drive?

Add your separate ext3 partition to your wine.conf

I have not been using wine for a long time, maybe the config file has another name.
Anyway, the wine config file use to be very self explained, search for it in the .wine directory under your home.
