swappnig ide channels
 

I'ev been recommended by Abit to move my CDROM and DVD to my first IDE channels, and to put my hard disk on to the second channel. so my hard drive will become hdc instead of hda. Is this gonna totally stuff everything up, or should i be able to just get away with editing my /etc/fstab and re-installing lilo from a boot disk?
