Suse 10.0 set dvd
 

Hi everyone,

i just downloaded an ISO DVD image from the Suse 10.0. Now the problem i am facing is that i can't burn it cos it's 8Gigs?
Is there any way to separate this Image in to piaces and if not what should i do to install it here?
I do have DVD-writer, however each and every dvd-/+rom has up to 4.7G...

That's very weird...where did you download it from? There can't be an 8GB iso because that would never fit onto a DVD (which as you correctly stated can only hold 4.7GB of files).

You could try downloading the SUSE 10.0 OSS isos from the LQ ISO site. Alternatively, buy the latest "Linux Format" mag - a great read, and you get SUSE with it... ;)

I believe the SUSE Linux 10.0 DVD is somewhere around 4GB. It is almost as though the file contained two downloads. (Don't ask me how that happened, though.)
