Sun Grid Engine on linux
Hi Friends,
I am planning to implement Sun Grid Engine (sge) on 200 linux servers for distributed processing.
Can anyone let me know the references to documentation and implementation of sge ?
Also is there any customisable front end available for the end users to submit jobs to sge ?
Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your info TBOne.
I have already googled and found an installation guide which is available in one of the links you have mentioned.
I just wanted some ideas if possible from like minded sge users.
Your link for sun's wiki also seems helpful.

Did you ever find any good docs on this? I'm trying the same thing, but the sun wiki is geared towards Solaris and I'm using fedora Linux.

Yes, saw your other post, please don't reopen nearly year-old threads.
What version of Fedora are you using?

Apologies for the resurrection, I thought it would be better to search first and participate in already established conversations.
I'm running:
Linux RD42VMfedora 2.6.31.5-127.fc12.x86_64 #1 SMP Sat Nov 7 21:11:14 EST 2009 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux
I found this and it has been useful so far:
http://wiki.gridengine.info/wiki/ind...ux_master_host
I've made it past the dependency check I'm into new errors. I put them in my other post.
