I have the Logitech Wingman Gaming mouse (see picture), I've had it for years, I love this mouse dearly. Im looking to buy another one since the buttons are becomming non responsive but can't find it ANYWHERE! Prehaps yall could suggest a nice 3 button (like the wingman) optical alternative or even find the wingman it self.
I'll assume that this mouse is no longer being manufactured, and if so, if you can't locate a replacement via Google, Ebay, Pricewatch, etc, then you may just have to accept that you'll need to switch to another model.
I have just been to the Logitech website - looking at their mouse list, all their mice are avec scroll wheel.
Looks like J.W. is right - you'll have to switch. Unless you can try second hand shops, pawn shops, ads in computer mags, and other less mainstream methods.
If you can't find a mouse like that, maybe you can change your XF86Config file so that the wheel doesn't work - so many threads where they want it the other way. Then, you could at least find one with a fat wheel. A thought. I'll look around too.
Ya I acutally had the same idea, however I have seen mice out there with no scroll wheel. I actually even found a site that sells not the wingman, but the same mouse its called like an s82 or something, also by logitech. Only thing is its PS/2 which really isn't a problem i guess, i do prefer USB, but the company has REALLLLLY bad reviews and i'd rather not order from them hehe. Thanks for your reply tho
