Sudo and solaris install and configure ?

Hello,

I am new to sudo and want to install sudo and configure it. I have downloaded TCMsudo-1.7.4p4-i386.pkg.gz package but the installation steps are as below.

bash> ./configure
bash> make
bash> make install

But all i see the .PKG file and no configure and install files. Are there a new steps that i need to use with .PKG files ? Also once installed how do i configure it.

Where did you download TCMsudo-1.7.4p4-i386.pkg.gz from? If you don't know of it, you should add http://sunfreeware.com/ to your bookmarks.
What told you that the install steps where configure & make?

A PKG file should be able to be installed with the "pkgadd" command.

Once installed, configure it the same way you would on any Linux distro: with visudo.

If you want to use configure & make for some reason, then you need to download the source distribution, not the binary package.
