streaming mp3 ?????

what is the best way to stream mp3's over the Internet

I am trying to use icecast but i don't know how to get it running

I what to keep it simple

my disto is slackware

If you only want to relay an existing station try "streamripper". But when you want to make your own sender, icecast is a good choice. See this instructions: here
