Still the kernel problem

Hello,I had problem with compiling the kernel 2.4.21 for Debian the normal way, because when I booted the comp it freezed after 4 rows:
boot: new
Loading new...........................
BIOS data check succesful
Uncompresing Linux... Ok, booting the kernel

and then it freezed everytime. The I have been adviced to compile the kernel debian way(make-kpkg kernel-image after making menuconfig) but I have got the same result:-(. What should I do now?I am really dissapointed with that.

well you could boot into your system through a rescue floppy or the rescue cd.The boot cd has a vmlinuz file ,use that to create a boot floppy (through syslinux) if you can't boot from the cd into a rescue mode.
Now recompile the kernel the debian way.

I don't have problems with booting the computer(I have good working 2.4.20 kernel so that's not a problem). The problem is I cannot run the new kernel 2.4.21. I copiled it debian way also and the result was same-it freezed after those four rows. I don't know what I did bad with the compiling because the compiling went OK,with no errors.
