Question startx failed Enterprise Version 3.0

I am a total Linux newbie. Trying to get server up. Encountering this error message when trying to "startx" :

Markers: (--) probed, (**) from config file, (==) default setting,
(++) from command line, (!!) notice, (II) informational,
(WW) warning, (EE) error, (NI) not implemented, (??) unknown.
(==) Log file: "var/log/XFree86.0.log" , Time: Sat Jul 24 13:40:10 004
(==) Using config file: "/etc/X11/XF86Config"

Could not init font path element unix/:7100, removing from list!

Fatal server error:
could not open default font 'fixed'

If you encountered a server crash, please report the problem by filing a bug report in the XP86.org bugzilla at (url) and/or Red Hat bugzilla at (url) When filing your report, it is very important that you explain your problem in as much detail as possible, and include a complete description on how to reproduce the problem. After submitting the bug report, attach the following files as uncompressed individual file attacments using the bugzilla file attachment feature:
- X server log file: /var/log/XFree86.0.log
- X server config file: /etc/X11/XF86Config
- Kernal log file: /var/log/messages

X10: fatal IO error 104 (Connection reset by peer) on X server "0:0"
after 0 requests ( 0 known processed ) with 0 events remaining
root@localhost [~]#

I need to get into XWindows, could anyone help?? Thank you.

Okey, here is what you do. Go in to the file "/etc/X11/XF86Config" with your favorite editor like vim or emacs, like "vim /etc/X11/XF86Config". Scroll down to "Section "Files"" and you'l see a bunch of lines like "FontPath "/usr/X11R6/lib/X11/fonts/local/"". Look for a line like "FontPath "unix/:7100"" and put a '#' sign in front of it to comment it out.
Note; if you are using vim as your editor, before you can insert any character in your file, you have to press the <ins> button. To save the changes and get out of the file press <esc> and then ':'+'w'+'q'.
After that, try "startx" again.

Good luck!
