Starting/Stopping SSH

Can someone please tell me how to start/stop ssh via terminal window on Ubuntu 7.04?

Start:
Code:
/etc/init.d/ssh start
Stop:
Code:
/etc/init.d/ssh stop
Restart:
Code:
/etc/init.d/ssh restart
You run these as root, of course.

if not,

ps -e |grep sshd
0001
26586
it will give numbers, those are your pid numbers
kill 0001 && kill 26586
