starting sequence

When i start my RH7,3 on my toshiba laptop,
it fails eth0 than it start pcmcia... i guess it should be the opposite? is there a way to change that?
Since i installed RH7.3 it works but i have that fail any way because of the service booting sequence.
thanks
dan

do you connect it to a network? its looking for your ethernet connection(eth0 is your ethernet card) You have to disable it from start-up. Go to your kde kontrol panel and select network setup, and you should see your ethernet card(eth0) go to edit and turn it off.

you should probably start it manually because it may not be connected when you boot all the time.

the file /etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-eth0 will contain the line that tells it to use it on boot.

also if you do want it to load last then put the commands to start it in /etc/rc.d/rc.local
