starting at the command prompt

I've got a really stupid question. I just upgraded, yes upgraded from Mandrake 8.2 to 9.0. Everything seems to be fine. The only problem I have is that it now brings me directly into KDE3 when I log on. I would like to have it stop at the command promp instead. I had thought that the option to do that was in the login/logout screens in KDE but I can't find it. Can someone tell me where the option is located to stop sending me into KDE???

Thanks!

You don't even need to reboot! Once you've edited the file, save it and type init 5. This will take you to the GUI login, and next time you boot your computer, it will go there straight away.

Gotta agree with Thymox, reboot is a privelege of another not so-operating system :D. I never reboot unless it is a kernel upgrade, which is like reloading a whole new operating system.:D
