Start the screen saver from a script

Hi guys,
Does anyone know how to start the screensaver, whatever is the one defined, or a particular one from the standard set that comes with FC5, from a script? Is there any simple command such as:

screensaver -start &

or

screensaver -start -starsfield &

Thanks in advance.

you need to run 'xscreensaver' as a daemon

after this, use 'xscreensaver-command -activate' to start the screensaver
