Question "Start Applications"


I use Mandrake 9.2 and i looked at the menudrak since i installed it about 2 hours ago

i was wondering about the "applications" in the in the menudrak there are things like emulators and finances and stuff like that i cannot find a way to get all the applications i want in the start application panel

help

type
update-menus -v
you don't need to be root to do this

it appears to be normal for this process to not return to the command prompt
so after it stops for a bit
close the terminal

thanks

hmm does not seem to have the effects i was looking for

like there is no change to the menu and it just sits at

"Update-menus[2499]: Running method:/etc/menu-methods/simplified//gnome"

well any other ideas for how to get the "extra" items in the application menu

help again
