StarOffice 5.2 and Java Runtime Environment


During installation of StarOffice 5.2, I get an error message:

"No Java Runtime Environment was found which can be used by StarOffice"

What does this mean and what should I do about it?

Basically it means that the browser will not be able to run java script

you can get JRE from sun

Thanks. I just installed the JRE from Sun.

My browser was working ok before, what will this get me?

it will work at sites that use java like yahoo pool, things like that

I am talking about the office browser.
