SSH delays
I'm using Redhat linux machine . kernel 2.4.9-e.34smp version . And
#rpm -qa | grep ssh
openssh-askpass-gnome-3.1p1-14
openssh-server-3.1p1-14
openssh-askpass-3.1p1-14
openssh-clients-3.1p1-14
openssh-3.1p1-14
While trying to do ssh/telnet to mymachine .... the login prompt comes quickly .But
when I give username , it takes considerable time ( 25 secs ) .
I tried ssh in verbose mode on mymachine .
ssh -l username mymachine-ip -v
*somedata*

So it is clear from above that .. it's usually the encryption method that the server uses to
encrypt the data ... which takes up processor time.
Whats the work around wd be then ??
