I have just installed Red Hat linux with squid 2.4. The config is all correct but I´m unable to compile the proxy authentication software. The software I´m trying to complie is the NCSA that comes with squid but everytime I run make or make install the error I receive " *** No targets specified and no makefile found. Stop." or when I type make install it says " *** No rule to make target install. Stop.
What should I do? Is this a perm thing or should I just install Samba and use the SMB client? Which is better anyway?
