Speed, stability, and no Darth Gates telling me what to do.

Couldn't get much better in Linux. I've been using Linux on and off for some time and since my last upgrade and adding a dedicated hard drive of 80GB for Linux I plan now to learn as much about it as I can. Found this forum to be quite busy so I figured this was where I could find the best and most help in my quest to learn. Besides, I'm a college student studying Computer Engineering so it would help if I learned Linux.
