specifying dns domain

yet another trivial question..... My adsl service needs a dns suffix such as (xp) how do i add such a suffix in mandrake 8.1. At the moment the dns is using dhcp but it also needs the name of the server. I am only using the roaring penguin and it doesnt ask for a dns suffix it only asks for dhcp or or whether to use a static address

if any one could help me it would be really helpful

you can add dns entries in your /etc/resolv.conf file in this type of format.

nameserver IP Address of DNS Server
nameserver Secondary IP Address of DNS Server
