Is the "xfs" service running?

Yeah Xfs is running

And it was working pretty fine .
The /tmp was in a different partition if i remember
correctly . I remove that partition

Did you also move /tmp after removing that partition. X stores alot of info in /tmp, and I could see how this could easily be your problem. If you have it in your fstab file that temp is still to be mounted on that other partition, and it's removed, comment out that line, and then try again.
